Our annual celebration of the Feast of St Augustine and his mother St Monica comes around this weekend. In conjunction with the liturgical celebration we also conduct our annual appeal for the support of the next generation of Augustinians. UPDATED DRAFT OF PARISH PASTORAL PLAN

Following further deliberation at the last parish council meeting another draft of the Parish Pastoral Plan has been uploaded here. Please be aware this is a working and incomplete document. The existing Plan may still be seen on this page.

PLENARY COUNCIL DECREES

The Fifth Plenary Council of Australia has concluded and the final resolution are now awaiting ratification from Rome. The decrees may be viewed and read here.

 

FAREWELL FR GERRY!

With sadness we convey the news of the death Monday 30th May of Fr Gerald (Gerry) Dullard OSA. Fr Gerry spent the last 20 years or more of his ministry and retirement in South Yarra and endeared himself to parishioners and neighbours alike.

Fr Gerald served in a number of parishes in Victoria, Sydney, parishes and a secondary college in Queensland and, of course, was a classmate from seminary days of Fr John Barry OSA.

A Requiem Mass was celebrated at  St Joseph’s, South Yarra on Tuesday 14th June 11am and again at St Mary’s Church, Echuca on Thursday 16th June 11am followed by burial at Pinegrove Cemetery. You may read a longer tribute here.
