First Communion Day 

Congratulations to the children of our parish who received Holy Communion for the first time last week and thanks to those who helped to prepare them for their big day.

THE AUGUSTINIANS – END OF FINANCIAL YEAR DONATIONS

Each year, usually in August, the Order in Australia promotes the Augustinian Appeal. We are aware that some prefer to donate at the end of the Financial Year. The following information may be of assistance to those wishing to contribute at this time. There are various ways you can contribute, either by direct deposit or using the donation envelopes available in our churches today. Go to donation information details.

SAFEGUARDING UPDATE

THE PARISH LIBRARY IS OPEN

Located upstairs in the parish centre, the Barry Library is stocked with religious and some general interest books including children’s books. The library is open Tuesday to Friday during office hours and you are welcome to visit, browse and borrow books.

A new protocol introduced this week provides a framework for Catholic entities across Australia to respond consistently to people raising concerns or allegations of child sexual abuse.The National Response Protocol, is the product of two years of work and widespread consultation within and beyond the Church.
