“IGNITE THE LIGHT” – young people’s ministry
(formerly YAM)
The former YAM group (Young Adults Ministry) has changed in its focus and range of activities and involving itself more now on the music ministry for our Masses while still providing a platform for social engagement with the younger generation of our parish community. It remains an important means of attracting the young adults of our area and the friends to share in a faith-based community.
Who we are?
We are a community of friends of single and married Catholic adults in our 20’s and 30’s, bound together by our common desire to follow Jesus more closely and have a positive impact in our community.
Our vision
Our vision is to empower young adults to live as disciples of Jesus and strive to spread God’s love.
Our Mission
Our mission is to engage young adults through friendship and service, by journeying together in faith, and discovering Jesus in ourselves and in each other.
We also want to contribute significantly to the Parish life by participating in the liturgy, being involve in the Parish council and organising retreats annually.
What we do
We gather together in prayer, fellowship, faith-formation and service.

In this time when we have no public worship members have offered to assist with our Masses in the parish.
