THE ALFRED HOSPITAL 

The care of the sick is an important and essential ministry in our community. The Alfred Hospital is a large general public health facility located within the boundaries of the parish for which the clergy and parishioners have always had some pastoral responsibilities.

Currently, in the absence of an on-site Catholic chaplain, pastoral visits to patients are handled through the Spirituality Centre in the hospital. To request a pastoral visit or for urgent sacramental calls to the Alfred Hospital, contact or visit the Spirituality Centre (03) 9076 3138. After hours please ask assistance from the hospital ward staff who will refer the request.
